All eyes on Jesus

Altar → Table → Field

We believe every single follower of Jesus can grow in confidence as one who builds altars of worship with the word and prayer in the heart, home, church and region.

At Radiant, discipleship isn’t abstract — it’s embodied.

We gather at the Altar to seek God, we’re formed at the Table as family, and we’re sent into the Field to bless our city and the nations.

This is our pattern of life: Seek → Shaped → Sent.

OUR VALUES

  • We honor God’s presence above all else — and we honor God’s image in one another.

  • We descend into greatness. We lead with servant hearts, quick to listen, quick to repent, and eager to build others up.

  • We seek God with all our hearts. We refuse complacency and ask for more of Jesus — more holiness, more love, more power.

  • We walk in truth and vulnerability. We bring our whole selves into the light so Jesus can heal, restore, and form us.

  • We risk for the sake of the Kingdom. We want our lives to count for what matters most — the glory of Jesus and the good of others.

Our practices are not about performance — they’re about communion and obedience.

Hear and Obey Jesus

We cultivate a lifestyle of listening to God through Scripture, prayer, worship, and wise community — then we respond with obedience.

  • Scripture as the final authority for belief and life

  • Prayer as ongoing relationship, not a ritual

  • Obedience as the pathway of formation

Show and Share Jesus

We demonstrate and declare the gospel in everyday life — in our homes, work, neighborhoods, and relationships.

  • Good works that reflect the Kingdom

  • Hospitality and generosity

  • Courageous witness in love and humility

Together

Discipleship is a family journey. We grow best when we practice the way of Jesus in community.

  • Life-on-life relationships

  • Community groups as a primary formation space

  • Every member matters; every part gets to play

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Radiant Central Coast stands joyfully within historic, orthodox Christianity. We gladly confess the Nicene and Apostles’ Creeds and hold Scripture as our final authority for belief and life.

  • We believe God is one and Triune — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father is creator and sustainer. Jesus Christ is eternally God, fully God and fully human, crucified, risen, ascended, and coming again. The Holy Spirit is God, the Lord and giver of life, who empowers the Church for witness and forms us into the likeness of Christ.

  • We affirm the Bible (Old and New Testaments) as the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority for doctrine, correction, and faithful practice.

  • We believe salvation is the free gift of God’s grace, received by faith through repentance and trust in Jesus Christ — resulting in justification, regeneration, adoption, and life in the family of God.

  • We believe Christ’s death on the cross paid for the sins of the world, and its benefits are received by those who trust in Him. We believe God’s provision for healing and wholeness (body, soul, and spirit) is provided in the atonement and is received by faith.

  • We believe the Christian life is one of growth, maturity, and dependence on the Holy Spirit amid trials and spiritual warfare. Faithfulness requires dying to self and abiding in Christ, with the promise of eternal blessing for those who endure.

  • We believe the Church is the people of God — all who truly trust in Jesus — and that the local church is God’s primary vehicle for extending and establishing His Kingdom on earth.

  • We practice baptism and communion as ordinances given by Jesus for believers: baptism as an outward sign of an inward work, and communion as remembrance of Jesus’ death until He comes.

  • We believe marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, established by God, reflecting Christ’s love for His Church.

  • We affirm the bodily, personal return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the saints, and the final judgment, with eternal destinies determined by relationship to Jesus Christ, and the hope of the new heavens and new earth.

OUR LEADERSHIP

At Radiant we are pursuing to live out of a plurality of Eldership that we see in the Scriptures. As servant leaders under Christ, elders at Radiant serve as overseers, shepherds, teachers, and stewards of the household of God—devoted to the Scriptures, dependent on the Holy Spirit, and accountable to Jesus, the Chief Shepherd.

Together, we GOVERN, GUIDE, GROUND, GUARD, and GROW the church through sacrificial love and self-emptying service—so that the body of Christ is built up to maturity, participates fully in the life of God, and advances His mission in the world.
